Senior Midday Supervisory Assistant Required

Scale C, Point 10 – 13

Actual Salary £3786.40 – £3904.96 (gross pro rata)

10 Hours a week, Monday – Friday 11.30am – 1.30pm

Term time only

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking person to join our team who can help with the supervision of our fantastic children at lunchtimes.

To supervise a team of Midday Supervisory Assistants (MSAs), and in cooperation with duty teachers, ensure the safety and well-being of pupils and the adherence with school procedures while in play areas, the dining room, classrooms or in transit between sites.

You must:-

  • We have a great team of MSAs who work hard to ensure all our children are happy, safe and inspired at lunchtime.

Duties include

Provides daily supervision to the MSA team in performing their duties, including re-organising the rota as necessary to ensure adequate cover in all areas of the school e.g. sickness cover.

Supervision of children in all areas of the school to ensure the safety and good behaviour of the children.

Maintains good order at all times to ensure school standards and procedures are adhered with, to deal with instances of bad behaviour referred by MSAs by persuasion, timeouts, or referral to duty teachers as necessary.

Being a Senior MSA allows you to really get to know our school and has been the starting point for many of our teaching/classroom assistants.
