In 2022 during our Festival of Languages we explored and shared the migration stories of the families in our community. We are a diverse community with connections to many parts of the world and as a School of Sanctuary we aim to be a welcoming and safe place for everyone. To celebrate this aspect of our identity as a school we decided to create a new mural in the main playground. Take a look at the photos to see how the mural came together.
A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who shared their time and expertise to create the mural but an extra special thank you to parents Derek, the designer of the mural, and to Rob, who knew how to bring that design to life, without their hard work and patience this mural would not have been possible.
