On Monday 26th September, we are privileged to have none other than Chris Riddell who is the current Children’s Laureate.
The role of Children’s Laureate is awarded once every two years to an eminent writer or illustrator of children’s books to celebrate outstanding achievement in their field.
Chris has written and illustrated many books including the fantastic Edge Chronicles who he co- wrote with author Paul Stewart. The author and illustrator also penned the Ottoline series, Goth Girl and many more amazing titles. His wonderful illustrations and storytelling bring his books to life.
This will be a multi school event so we will be welcoming Colman Junior, Bluebell and Wensum Primary. I am sure the children will be inspired by Chris and will be enjoyed by all.
